The Shakespeare Academy is developing a Shakespeare curriculum for K-3, 4-8, and 9-12 using a "Learning through Performance" approach based on the outstanding work of The Folger Library, the London Globe Education Department, and UT-Austin's Shakespeare Kids.
We have implemented the curricula for As You Like It and The Tempest with encouraging results. We will continue to develop one play per semester with the goal of making one-play and multi-play curricula available to teachers and institutions.
